Hot Tub Removal Charlotte

Old spa on the deck, dead pump, cover rotting in the sun. We cut it down, carry it out, and haul it the same visit.

How it goes

A hot tub is 600 to 900 pounds of fiberglass, foam and plumbing that won't fit through a gate in one piece.

We disconnect it, cut it into sections, carry it out, and clear the pad. Most Charlotte hot tub removals are done in under two hours, and you don't have to be the one to figure out the electrical.

How it goes

Three steps, one visit.

Send the form or call

Tell us what you've got and where it is. Kevin calls back within the hour with a ballpark. A photo over text works too.

We show up and price it

We look at the actual load, give you the flat price on the spot, and wait for your yes. No surprise add-ons after the fact.

It's gone

We load, sweep the space, and haul it out. Donation and recycling first, transfer station last.

What we take

What we take on a hot tub removal job.

  • Portable and in-deck spas, any size
  • Swim spas and cut-down jobs that need a saw
  • Wood hot tub surrounds, steps and gazebos
  • Covers, cover lifters, pumps and heaters
  • The deck section under the tub, if it's coming out too
  • Above-ground pools, liners and frames

What we can't take: hazardous waste, asbestos-containing material, wet paint, chemicals, fuel and propane tanks. If you're not sure, describe it on the phone and we'll tell you straight.

How pricing works

Hot tub removal is quoted by the job, not by the truck.

One flat number, before anything starts.

Kevin walks the job (or looks at your photos), tells you the price, and waits for your yes. It doesn't change once we start, and if it takes less than we thought, it goes down.

  • Free walk-through or photo quote, no charge to come look
  • Labor, disposal fees and the haul are all in the one number
  • Multi-truck jobs quoted as one job, not per load
  • Paid after the work, once you've seen the space. Cash, card, Zelle or invoice
  • Net-30 for contractors, property managers and other haulers

Common questions

Hot Tub Removal questions, answered.

Do I need to disconnect the power first?

The breaker needs to be off and, ideally, an electrician has disconnected the whip at the tub. If it's a plug-in 110V spa, just unplug it. Tell us what you've got and we'll walk you through it before the day.

What if it's full of water?

Drain it the night before if you can. If you can't, we bring a pump and it adds a little time, not a lot of money.

Can you get it out of a fenced backyard?

Yes. That's most of them. We cut the shell into pieces that fit through a standard gate and carry them to the truck.

How much does hot tub removal cost in Charlotte?

It depends on the size, how it's built in, and access. We quote it on site or from a couple of photos over text, flat, before anything is cut. It's not on the standard truck-fill sheet because weight and labor matter more than volume here.

What happens to the hot tub?

The shell and foam go to the transfer station. The metal frame, pump and heater go to scrap recycling. Working covers and lifters get donated when someone can use them.

Will you take the deck it sits in?

If the deck is coming out too, we can do both in one visit. See light demolition for what that looks like.
